CDPH 06/05/2020:
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) just released new guidance that many counties with attestations to readiness, like Riverside County, can move to Stage 3 of re-opening as early as next Friday, June 12 with the approval of County health officials.
These are among several new businesses and activities that can re-open in counties that have met certain thresholds on positivity rates, testing and preparedness.
The state also issued new guidance for these new sectors, giving each business or activity adequate time to create re-opening plans. The following are the sectors that will be allowed to re-open next Friday:
- Campgrounds, RV Parks, and Outdoor Recreation
- Hotels
- Family Entertainment Centers
- Restaurants, Bars, and Wineries
- Fitness Facilities
- Museums, Galleries, Zoos, and Aquariums
- Cardrooms, Satellite Wagering Facilities and Racetracks
Not included in today’s announcement were nail salons, movie theaters and youth sports, which are not yet authorized to re-open.
