On September 28th and 29th, Launch Pointe, located at 32040 Riverside Drive, will transform into a vibrant celebration of German culture, cuisine, and camaraderie at the much-anticipated Oktoberfest On The Lake.
Why drive far away when you can stay local this year? Whether you’re a local or a visitor, Oktoberfest On The Lake promises a memorable experience filled with traditional German festivities. Imagine the lively sounds of oompah bands filling the air, the clinking of steins, and the enticing aroma of bratwurst and pretzels wafting through the crowd. This family-friendly event offers something for everyone, from authentic German food and beer to lively music, dancing, and activities for all ages.
Food lovers can delight in a smorgasbord of German delicacies. Savor mouthwatering sausages, sauerkraut, schnitzel, and strudel, all prepared by expert chefs who bring the tastes of Bavaria to Southern California. For those looking to quench their thirst, a wide selection of German beers will be available, featuring everything from rich lagers to crisp pilsners. Raise your stein and say “Prost!” as you toast with friends, both old and new.
We have booked six oompah bands for an immersive experience, with three bands performing each day. Entertainment will be a highlight of the weekend, with live performances from these traditional German bands and dancers. Feel the beat of the polka, join in the fun of group dances, and immerse yourself in the joyous spirit of Oktoberfest. There will also be games and contests, including stein-holding competitions and yodeling contests, sure to bring out the competitive spirit in everyone.
Families are encouraged to bring their children, who will find plenty to keep them entertained. From face painting and crafts to bounce houses and carnival games, there’s no shortage of activities to make this a fun-filled weekend for the younger crowd.
